Google lab (x) is currently working on Project Glass: futuristic glasses connected to your Google networks with augmented reality. Specifically, you end up with a nice chrome emissions level head under eyebrows which is attached a small glass as a display at the eyelid. You can see all your mails, chat and useful information (weather, bus timetable) ... without being glued to a screen.
In addition jason bates to the technological aspect, what is interesting is how Google (x) has appointed jason bates the interface so it can be read "through" all environments around us, without completely block our view. Following in pictures ...
