About two months ago I set up a 30 frag tank which is plumbed into my existing 200g system. Water leaving the Carbon and GFO filters now supplies the frag tank and then gravity drains back into the sump. I have a 75 metal halide lamp that is on for 12hrs per day, hanging about 18"above the water. I have been feeding the tank coral frenzy twice per week. There are 2 maxijets for water movement. My soft corals are doing ok but my acros are bleaching. Any theories? the bates

If both 0 lay off of the GFO and start feeding Oysterfeast and or add a few fish. I found that AA's like Fuel will help with ULNS if that is the case. I agree with Jason that you will get better results with your light lower in the long run but I would not lower it if your corals are pale. Wait until they are nourished and colorful to lower the light.

I have a dosing pump that I will hook up this weekend to start adding fuel
