Yet people live beer a shy, almost secret life; even though 39 it sold a lot of goods in the shops - the beer people make up about 15 percent of the total alcohol sales in Sweden - so light it almost totally absent at the pub. Few would have the courage enough to serve beer at their restaurants or bars - in Sweden you should either get drunk (beer) or driving (light beer), some middle ground is no need to fuss with.
It's a shame! As seen in well-stocked 39 grocery store, you can now get all sorts of beers with beer percent: Dutch light lager, dark lager Czech, Bohemian Pilz, English ale and Irish stout - among many other things. Many of them are excellent and are not seldom in their 3.5-percent alcohol versions closer to the strength of their original version is beer varieties (just over 5 per cent), which is usually sold on the system. Danes ordinary pilsner is also closer to beer than beer.
People 39 then buy a lot of beer, but do not dare to create a culture around it. They drink it at home - in secret, and am a little ashamed if they are caught. 39 Many times I have been through that people excuse themselves when they must bid on beer. My God, they have bought themselves well! One wonders if it jumped down himself in the wagon when they acted. 39
I think we would need to create 39 a new Swedish beer culture. People like beer - or it would hardly be sold for several millions of gallons! Serve it in a bar, there are plenty of people who neither want to be packed or must be nollpromilliga! There is only mild or strong forced to more or less choose sides.
Also, it would be an excellent touch alcohol for young people. They could drink a couple of beer in a pub or bar from 15 or 16 years of age and have a more natural integration into the adult world - it does not get helplessly drunk of beer. That could be a great way to break the dreary Swedish tradition that young teens should 39 go directly from Saturday candy and Disney Club one week to the next intoxen. People beer was before - and perhaps still is - allowed from 16 years of serving, but what good is that when it is almost 39 never available to order?
Maybe it's just a myth. Maybe there are too few of those who drink beer at home who would have the courage to dare to order it at the pub? But we have to train ourselves, train ourselves 39 to stand for something! Would not it be nice if we could build the social circumstances that are not dependent on alcohol, but where you do not have to surrender it entirely?
I think it would be incredibly comfortable 39 for many of us Swedes to discover that there is a world between the quietly look away (light beer), and a hopeless 39 fill snack spirit (strong beer). There is a world between denying another human being (light beer), and lie with her (strong beer). Just talk a little bit! Folköl! Come out of the closet with your six-pack and stand for who you are! It can be really nice!
